River is my type of romantic male protagonist he’s smart, slightly aloof, and caring. It is clear where the problems will arise nevertheless, this book was pretty romantic and sweet. Still, since it would be great publicity for the company with the founder finding a high match, the company will pay the struggling Jess to give River a chance and appear for press promotion. Jess, who only tried the service due to pressure from her best friend Fizzy, is hesitant, especially when she expected nothing to come out of it. River is also the intelligent creator of said service. “The Soulmate Equation” follows single mother Jess matching with the handsome River Nicholas Pena on a match-making service using DNA. Thus, I am happy to report that I greatly liked “The Soulmate Equation” – what a sigh of relief. I was worried that my love-hate relationship with Christina Lauren novels was more hate-leaning. The year before, I picked up “Love and Other Words” and “The Honey-Don’t List,” giving a low 2/5 to both. Last year, I read “In a Holidaze” by Christina Lauren and sadly hated it I gave it a 1/5.
